ExciTED for a new opportunity? Ted is looking for a Wholesale
Planner to drive the growing business with planning and trading.
Duties
include but not limited to:
Planning
·
To plan across different product areas
setting up parameters focusing on profit and risk to the business.
·
Set Trustee Plans with Sales team each season
and ensure they stack back to financial plans set.
·
Update Trustee Plans each week with actuals
and circulate performance to date to the team.
·
Propose product grading for wholesale buys
·
Work closely with the designated Sales team
to complete buys for each collection to parameters agreed.
·
Manage the booking of stock to meet Trustee
demands with buying.
·
Provide end of season selling feedback to be
presented back to key departments of the business.
·
Size all Wholesale dockets based on sales
information/dockets to date.
·
Ensure enough stock is booked to cover sales
orders plus in season trading on key styles identified.
·
Ensure we are achieving target margins on
styles and over all for areas of responsibility.
·
Provide order book history analysis by
Trustee.
·
Set teams financial monthly targets for the
year – reviewing any shift in product area/trustee base.
Trading
- Support the team to ensure monthly invoicing targets are met.
- Review weekly sales reports from Trustee’s looking for repeat opportunities
- Attend Trustee Trade Meetings with Sales Guardian.
- Forecast Terminal Stocks and management of stock
- Manage the channelling of stock between wholesale and retail during and at the end of a season.
- Monitor and forecast perennial/replenishment styles looking at ideal stocks/sales to maximise sales
- Ensure all data entry is maintained.
- Manage day to day queries/problems that arise within the department
- Complete analysis for monthly board packs
- Managing pricing and margins on Trustee “Specials”
Ideal candidates will have:
- Advanced excel skills
- Good communication skills
- Numerate & Analytical
- Time management
- Proactive approach
- Ability to think commercially
- 2-3 years of previous experience in similar capacity
