Sales/Administrative Assistant Wanted
Maritime is a small Hollywood-based sales agency focusing on contemporary jewelry & accessories.
This position affords a valuable opportunity to work directly with the showroom owner & gain hands-on exposure to all areas of sales & operations.
Duties include assisting in sales & marketing efforts, processing orders, preparing samples & displays for transport and/or shipping, set up & sales assistance at trade shows, internet research, light bookkeeping. This position requires an individual who is highly detail oriented, able to manage his/her work with little supervision, and a swift learner.
· At least one year office experience (QuickBooks knowledge is a plus)
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
· Strong organizational skills and ability to stay on task
· College graduate preferred, but will consider someone who meets the above requirements
This is a part-time position, 20-24 hours a week, Monday-Friday. However, the position can potentially develop to full-time with commissioned sales opportunities also possible.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
